El Rancho de las Golondrinas Lecture Series:  Abandoned New Mexico: Ghost Towns, Endangered Architecture, and Hidden History

El Rancho de las Golondrinas, New Mexico’s premier Living History Museum, kicks off its 50th anniversary season with three lectures over the winter months. The series, voted the Best Lecture Series 2021 in the Santa Fe Reporter, features a diverse range of topics and guest speakers.

On January 25, Botanist John Mulhouse will give a lecture called Abandoned New Mexico: Ghost Towns, Endangered Architecture, and Hidden History

The program will be a journey across the Land of Enchantment, from the sunbaked Chihuahuan Desert to the snow-capped Moreno Valley.  John will delve into forgotten history and take you to the far corners of New Mexico in this fascinating lecture based on his recent book, Abandoned New Mexico.
