El Parasol (South)

A local's favorite for some 50 years, this is a place to taste the flavors of northern New Mexico and Mexico. With six locations in three New Mexico counties, El Parasol's beginnings date to 1958, when the young brothers Pedro and Lorenzo Atencio started selling their mother’s beef tacos and red pork tamales under a patio umbrella on the main street in Española, New Mexico. The rest is history, and the family recipes have been printed by Gourmet, Bon Appétit and many others.

Monday –Friday, 7:30 a.m.-8 p.m.; Saturday 8 a.m.-8p.m.; Sunday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
