New Mexico Museum Of Art

Opened in 1917 as the first building in New Mexico dedicated to art, this museum celebrates the diversity of the visual arts and the legacy of New Mexico as a cultural crossroads. The galleries, St. Francis auditorium and reception areas were built by New Mexicans to promote the state's rich culture to both visitors and locals. The spectacular Pueblo Revival style building is as creative and artistic as the collections in the museum.
