Spanish Market

Celebrate the region's rich Spanish Colonial history at the annual Spanish Market on the Santa Fe Plaza, held on the final full weekend of July. One of Santa Fe's premier events, the market is devoted to traditional Spanish Colonial arts and crafts, handmade by hundreds of area Hispanic artists. Shop for retablos, santos, straw applique, hand-carved furniture, tin work and other exceptional pieces, and enjoy art demonstrations along with live music and dance and regional fare. The Contemporary Hispanic Market takes place simultaneously, featuring work by New Mexico Hispanic artists.
