Hike with Amigos at Cerrillos Hills State Park
Hike with Amigos at Cerrillos Hills State Park
The hills are alive with the sound of... pitter-pattering clawed feet? Yes! Tarantula season is underway at Cerrillos Hills State Park! Join the Amigos for a walk on the wild side on Saturday, September 21st where you might see male tarantuas strutting their stuff as they look for a mate.
This is an Amigos de Cerrillos State Park social hike so it’s a chance to leisurely walk through the park while reconnecting with old friends and making new ones! Dogs are welcome too - well-behaved and leashed dogs with your promise to carry the waste out with you. Please remember to wear appropriate footwear and clothing, bring water and snacks, and have sun protection/sunscreen as shade is limited.
