Animal Superpowers
Indigenous communities around the world celebrate the special abilities of animals though ritual practice and ceremony. Comic book superheroes offer a pop culture take on these abilities. Come learn how the shapes and characteristics of different animal skulls and pelts allow them to survive the rigors of life in the wild.
Animal Superpowers will be hosted in the Park Visitor Center located at the corner of First and Main Streets in Cerrillos village. Program starts promptly at 2pm

Location: Cerrillos Hills Park Visitor Center, 37 Main Street at the corner of 1st and Main in Cerrillos Village. Open Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm and by appointment.
Cerrillos Hills State Park: Open every day from sunrise to 9PM. Park entrance is 1/2 mile north of Cerrillos Village on County Road 59. Permit fee is $5 per vehicle exact cash or check and due upon arrival at the self-permit station. Park trails map here or at the entrance.
