Celebrate International Wild About Wildlife Month with New Mexico Wildlife Center
July is International Wild About Wildlife Month, and New Mexico Wildlife Center has a lot to celebrate!
Their annual Wild About Wildlife event will be on Saturday, July 18, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. Join the Center for a day of special tours and activities. See details below, and remember to bring sun protection and water for fun in the sun!
The Center has also recently welcomed two new Ambassador Animals. Virga and Pheonix the Black-footed Ferrets represent a phenomenal conservation story and illustrate the interdependence of prairie ecosystems. Come visit, Tues-Sun, 9:00 am-4:00 pm.
Animal Encounters are offered Tues-Sun at 11:30 am during the summer, included with regular admission. Each encounter features one of their 32 ambassadors. Stop in for a more in-depth understanding.
