Galisteo Studio Tour & Galisteo Arts
Galisteo Studio Tour & Galisteo Arts
In the historic and picturesque village of Galisteo, about half an hour’s drive southeast of Santa Fe, local and world-renowned artists will open their studios to visitors on October 10 and 11, 2026. Works include oil painting, photography, pottery, fibre arts, jewelry, and traditional New Mexican folk arts. As the cottonwoods on the Galisteo River turn gold, walk between the historic adobes in the village, then drive up the hill to the studios in Ranchitos with their panoramic views of the Ortiz Mountains and the Galisteo Basin. When you are hungry, return to the Community Center to enjoy a delicious meal from top Santa Fe food trucks. We feel sure you will leave Galisteo Studio Tour feeling relaxed and inspired, with artwork to remind you of a very special visit.
Note: Make sure to pick up your official Studio Tour Passport at the Galisteo Community Center or any artist stop. Visit 3 artists in each color, 3 blue, 3 red, 3 green and 3 orange. Ask the artist to confirm your visit on the passport map. Drop your completed passport off at the Community Center or Duende Gallery. Your passport will be included in the prize drawing for the Grand Prize!

Yurts At Hyde Memorial State Park
Connect with the heart of nature in Hyde Memorial State Park's ponderosa pine mountain forest, where three yurts provide a unique lodging experience that's rooted in an ancient nomadic tradition. Each yurt contains six single beds that can be grouped together in various configurations. Kick back in your outside activity area, with a fire ring, dining table and food safe, to keep the critters away. Vault toilets and water are just a short walk away.
