Madrid Christmas Parade and Annual Holiday Lighting
Madrid Christmas Parade and Annual Holiday Lighting
Madrid’s madcap Christmas Parade is a sight to behold. Merrily costumed residents, festooned burros, and dressed-up dogs stroll through this historic mining town or ride in vintage cars. Don’t miss the beloved red-nosed yak.
After the parade, the annual holiday house lighting throughout the town pays tribute to Madrid’s historical lighting displays of its 20th-century mining era. The parade kicks off at 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 7.
