April Wine
Hailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia, April Wine is a Canadian rock band that has been captivating audiences since 1969. With over 20 albums released since 1971, the band achieved international fame in the 1970s and 1980s. Featuring timeless classics like ‘Roller’, ‘I Like to Rock’, and ‘You Could Have Been a Lady’, their iconic power ballad ‘Just Between You and Me’ earned them the distinction of being the first Canadian band to appear on MTV. April Wine's illustrious career includes 11 Juno Award nominations and inductions into both the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame and the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
Molly Hatchet
Emerging from Jacksonville, Florida, in the early 1970s, Molly Hatchet epitomizes Southern Rock. Named after a legendary 17th-century axe murderess, the band burst onto the scene with their self-titled debut album in 1978, reaching multi-platinum status. They solidified their place in rock history with the release of ‘Flirtin’ with Disaster’ in 1979. Despite lineup changes over the years, the band has maintained their signature style with hits like ‘Gator Country’ and ‘Whiskey Man’.
