The opera’s singing and technical apprentice programs have launched numerous distinguished careers, including singers Joyce DiDonato, John Holiday, Michael Fabiano, Rachel Willis-Sørensen, Sylvia D’Eramo, Jonah Hoskins, Will Liverman, Brandon Jovanovich, Kate Lindsey, Zachary Nelson, Anthony León, Meridian Prall, Caitlin Gotimer, Joshua Blue, Amber Monroe, Nicholas Newton, Kyle Miller and Darren Drone, and 2025 Metropolitan Opera Eric and Dominique Laffont Competition winners Alissa Goretsky, Emma Marhefka, Michelle Mariposa and Luke Sutliff, as well as numerous past Operalia winners. Others are now teachers, coaches and administrators at major opera companies and universities.
Apprentices will present a concert with the Santa Fe Opera Orchestra.
